The Synergy Residence reimagines urban living by fostering community engagement within residential design. Addressing the isolation often found in traditional North American housing, this project draws inspiration from European models that emphasize shared spaces and social interaction.

Central to the design is a sunken courtyard, serving as a communal hub where residents can naturally connect. Surrounding this space are shared pathways, balconies, and dining areas that encourage daily interactions, promoting a sense of belonging and social well-being.

The integration of laneway-inspired triplexes introduces intimate, human-scaled spaces, bridging private and communal areas. This layout offers residents the flexibility to engage with the community or enjoy personal privacy, creating a supportive environment that adapts to individual needs.

The Synergy Residence exemplifies a commitment to reshaping residential architecture by merging privacy with shared spaces, enhancing social well-being, and fostering genuine connections within urban settings.
