Collaborating with Dr. William Michael Carter, DAS students were part of a multidisciplinary team in designing and building the "Archaeology Alive!" exhibition on the Jean-Baptiste Lainé Site in Whitchurch-Stouffville which included a digital re-creation of the largest indigenous settlment in Canada. Within the designed enclosure, visitors are immersed in a multimedia experience that has been distinguished as the recipient of the 2020 Ontario Museum Association Award of Excellence in Exhibitions.
