The intention of this project is to create an atmosphere of warmth and tranquillity by creating layouts of spaces that separate the public from the private. The community space behind the false
facade wall creates a buffer zone between the tranquillity of the building and the busy street. The false facade wall is constructed of deep clay blocks, which can be seen through, so the wall is partially transparent. The civic space can be seen from the street, creating an inviting environment for visitors approaching the building.
