Buone Nuove/Good News – Women In Architecture – from MAXXI to MET was held at the Paul H. Cocker Gallery in TMU’s Department of Architectural Science, from September 5 to October 10, 2024. It showcased the internationally acclaimed traveling exhibition, "Buone Nuove: Good News from Italy," which first opened at the MAXXI museum in Rome in 2022, featuring works and words of Italian women architects from the 1920s to present day, organized by themes of Stories, Practices, Narrations and Visions.

This traveling MAXXI exhibition was complemented by TMU-curated displays of women architects in the Toronto region, including works by twenty prominent designers positively impacting communities through built works, practice innovation, leadership, mentorship, and advocacy, and “Postcards to Progress” with submission from an open-call for initiatives, projects, manifestos and messages by individuals and groups supporting diversity in architecture.
