Social Issues in Communism

Meredith Davis

Equality of genders is a systemic issue that is constantly challenged; despite these issues, capitalist societies have yet to come up with a solution. In this communist society advancements in technology and science have allowed people’s spirits to live on forever outside of the human body. No longer bound by their sole physical body, individuals have the option to choose as well as change their gender and body as easily as changing an outfit. Without set bodies and genders, people can be seen for their personality without the consideration of their set physical characteristics. This image portrays a standard unit for an individual taking off their body for the day. There are no families in this society as reproduction is no longer necessary. When an individual decides to leave their body as depicted above, they are left to roam a new architectural world created for the “bodyless.”
