He who owns the digital, owns the world. A global corporation has gained ownership over the internet and all intellectual property surrounding it. The corporation controls the world’s access to healthcare, housing, food and commodities. Physical labor has become completely obsolete due to technology and development in the robotics sector. Online credits earned through the digital world are the only ways of purchasing these goods. The only employment is through human computation by means of working online for the corporation. Limited amount of digital jobs has resulted in a very competitive market that requires individual users to undergo complex levels of training. Those who are digitally proficient will be able to survive the corporation’s costly license to the digital world. While those who are not, will no longer be of use to the corporation and could have their jobs and access stripped away from them in an instant.
