About the Works

Inspired by Brutalist architecture, the work ”Sum of Its Parts” is comprised of a cluster of towers of various heights. Part of the body of work Multiple Expanse, this piece reflects the built environment, both welcoming and imposing. In contrast to the organic environment referenced in Peridiole, this construction embodies a modernist contradiction: a multiplicity of monoliths without a pronounced centre or point of origin.
