About the Artist
Evan Tapper was born in Winnipeg. He received an BFA from the University of Manitoba and an MFA from Carnegie Mellon University. His work has been exhibited throughout Canada, the United States, Europe, South America, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia. He has received grants and awards from such organizations as the Canada Council for the Arts, Ontario Arts Council, Toronto Arts Council, and the New York State Council on the Arts. Evan is the Director of the School of Continuing Studies at OCAD University and a Lecturer at the University of Toronto.

After the death of my parents, I found a box of slides from my parent's engagement party and wedding. Through animation, I attempt to save these young and hopeful kids from the painful future that awaits them.
